DCJCC December 25 Day of Service

The Washington DCJCC continues to accept registrations for its 21st Annual December 25th Day of Service. 500 additional volunteers are needed for a variety of service projects at 60 social service agencies throughout the metropolitan area on December 25. Individuals who are willing to serve as volunteer team captains are especially needed.

Projects include serving meals in soup kitchens, painting a homeless shelter, delivering gifts to transitional housing facilities, a blood drive, parties for children's hospitals, and visiting seniors in nursing homes. Projects are available from 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m. and are located throughout DC, MD and VA. Each project lasts approximately 2-3 hours.

While a number of projects are sold out, there are still many opportunities available. Please view the registration page for a list of volunteer sites.

For more information on the project, please visit the About the December 25 Day of Service page.
