DCJCC December 25 Day of Service

Apologies to those who may have already seen this in washingtondc

The Washington DCJCC is now accepting registrations for its 21st Annual December 25th Day of Service. Over 1,000 volunteers are needed for a variety of service projects at 60 social service agencies throughout the metropolitan area on December 25. Projects include serving meals in soup kitchens, painting a homeless shelter, delivering gifts to transitional housing facilities, a blood drive, parties for children's hospitals, and visiting seniors in nursing homes.

If you are unable to participate on December 25, but would still like to help with preparing for the event, volunteers are needed to wrap gifts in advance of the event. Several December dates are available. Or, consider helping provide some of the in kind donation items that volunteers will distribute on December 25.

Visit the registration page for more information. I'm happy to answer questions about the event as well.

I hope you'll be able to participate!
